'dass' vs. 'weil'

"dass" or "weil"?

Both conjunctions introduce a subordinate clause with the verb at the end – but they mean different things.

Examples: Ich weiß, dass du müde bist. (I know that you're tired.) · Du bist müde, weil du wenig geschlafen hast. (You're tired because you slept little.)
