"wenn" as a condition

"wenn" does not only mean "whenever" but also "if" – it states a condition. The "wenn" clause gives the condition, the main clause gives the consequence. Here too the verb goes to the end of the subordinate clause.

Example: Wenn du müde bist, solltest du schlafen gehen. (If you're tired, you should go to sleep.)
