'wenn' vs. 'wann'
"wenn" or "wann"?
These two words sound similar but have different jobs:

| wann | indirect question | Ich weiß nicht, wann er kommt. (I don't know when he's coming.) |
| wenn | conjunction (time/condition) | Wenn er kommt, freue ich mich. (When/if he comes, I'll be happy.) |
Tip: if you can ask "at what time?", you need "wann". If it means "whenever / if", use "wenn".
