Tekamolo: time before cause

With several adverbials in the middle field, the order is TE-KA-MO-LO:

Note:

• "Tekamolo" is just a memory word for the order, not a strict rule for every sentence.
• The verb still stays in position 2; Tekamolo only concerns the adverbials in between.
• You don't need all four adverbials – but the order of those present stays the same.

Examples:

• Ich fahre heute wegen der Ferien mit dem Auto nach Berlin. (…today because of the holidays by car to Berlin.)
• Sie geht abends aus Langeweile ins Kino. (She goes to the cinema in the evening out of boredom.)
• Wir bleiben heute wegen des Regens zu Hause. (We stay home today because of the rain.)
