Zustandspassiv
The stative passive (sein-passive)
The process passive (with "werden") describes an action in progress. The stative passive (with "sein" + past participle) describes the result, the state after the action.

Note:
- "werden" = something is happening now → process.
- "sein" = something is already done → state/result.
- Stative passive in the past: "war" + past participle (Die Tür war geöffnet. — the door was open).
Examples:
- Das Fenster ist schon geputzt. (The window is already clean — result.)
- Der Brief ist endlich geschrieben. (The letter is finally written.)
- Alle Läden waren am Sonntag geschlossen. (All shops were closed on Sunday.)
