Rücksicht nehmen is completed with "auf" + accusative.
Note:
- "Anwendung finden" has a passive meaning ("is applied").
- "Rücksicht nehmen auf + accusative": Rücksicht auf die Nachbarn nehmen.
- The noun (Anwendung, Rücksicht) carries the meaning; the verb is just a "carrier".
Common mistakes
- ❌ Rücksicht für die Nachbarn nehmen → ✅ Rücksicht auf die Nachbarn nehmen (fixed preposition "auf" + accusative).
- ❌ Anwendung machen → ✅ Anwendung finden (the fixed verb is "finden").
