A chain of argument
(Working from home has many advantages. First, employees save commuting time. Furthermore, they can organise their work more flexibly. Not least, CO₂ emissions fall as a result. However, personal contact is missing. Consequently, a hybrid model makes sense.)
Examples:
- Nicht zuletzt deshalb ist die Maßnahme sinnvoll. (Not least for this reason, the measure makes sense.)
(The results contradict each other; hence further research is needed.)
(The company has invested; thus it secures jobs.)
- Darüber hinaus sollte man die sozialen Folgen bedenken. (In addition, one should consider the social consequences.)
