German C2 · Elevated Nominal Style

Nominalisierung von Verben – C2 German Grammar

Elevated nominal style: nominalising verbs

At C2 level it's no longer just about turning verbs into nouns, but about converting entire clause structures into compact noun phrases – and back again. This is typical of expert opinions, legislation, academic essays and editorials.
